Technical/Functional Skills

- Hands-on experience in Snowflake, Python, and data warehousing concepts with strong Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) experience
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) and secondary skills in Snowflake, Hive, and Python. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL development, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries in Oracle databases.
- Implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake, Hive, and Python.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues related to SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable data solutions.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance in all data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modelling, query optimization, Snow SQL).
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with Hive and other big data technologies is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Apache NiFi, or similar).
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques in Oracle and Snowflake.
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
- Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, or e-commerce domains is a plus.
