Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Minimum 3 years’ experience is required.
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for cabling, setting up, and maintaining servers and network infrastructure to support our cutting-edge 5G research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Design and implement cabling solutions for network and server infrastructure.
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of the 5G lab's network and server systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with other engineers and researchers to support 5G lab projects.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, cabling layouts, and system setups.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network and server infrastructure.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in server setup, cabling, and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Experience with 5G technology and related infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network , or similar.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with network security best practices.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
