Job Title : User Experience Designer
Onsite Location : 400 Howard St, SF4, San Francisco, CA (94105)
Duration : 6 Months contract
Duties :
Champion user-centered design principles, and rely on these principles to build experiences that meet user needs (while simultaneously addressing business goals)
Collaborate with key project team members, including product managers, engineers, technology leads and fellow designers to deliver end-to-end solutions
Rapid ideation and iteration : Visualize and communicate ideas to your team in a timely manner
Facilitate and participate in workshops and discussions to promote the communication of ideas
Be proactive in giving and acquiring feedback from Designers as well as cross-functional members of your team
Occasionally build presentations to be shared with the across teams within the organization
Champion our design system to build consistent experiences that can scale in our suite of product
Skills :
Must have 7 years professional experience as a practicing designer in either product related or agency environments designing consumer facing applications, websites, and mobile experiences.
Strong portfolio of professional work with clear demonstration of your role and contributions on each project.
Skilled in developing wireframes, prototyping, user flows, interaction design, and visual design
Skilled in detailing work including annotations, prototypes, functional specifications
Strong understanding of content
Experience or ability to adapt to lean / agile product development models
Ability to connect with development teams to ensure pixel perfect implementation with high quality standards through QA of work and build
Effectively act on internal feedback, user testing results and findings to iterate designs that deliver more value for the users and business
Strong presentation skills in explaining interactions, scenarios and story boards
Experience running user research and user testing – and subsequently identifying user needs, actions, behaviors and emotions through research
Familiarity with Design Systems and standard methodologies
Design with intention, able to articulate your design decisions
Have an opinion, and provide different perspectives on specific problems
