- Heavy Engineering Product exposure
- Exposure to forging, casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and standard hardware
- Good understanding of material standards, AWS welding standards, and reading complex engineering prints.
- Good exposure to sheet metal design and manufacturing aspects, GDT, and design for manufacturing concepts
- Experience with supplier-quality engineering related to heavy machinery
- Suppliers Primary Evaluations
- PCPA audits
- Technical Sign-of
- APQP Implementation
- Risk assessment and mitigation plan signoff
- Design review
- Tool Kick off
- Tool Development Tracking
- Fixtures / gauges / Tools readiness review / execution
- Tool Trails, As T0, T1, T2 and T3
- Parts Fitments Report & Corrective Actions
- Approval For Fit & Functions
- ECN / FETE implementations
- Testing & Validations
- Safe Launch
- PSW Sign-off
- Smooth SOP Ramp-up
- Final Development Handover
- Supplier Performance Enhancement Excellence in Delivery
- Around 10 to 15% of travel to various suppliers' location
