WELL ESTABLISHED GENERAL CONTRACTOR LOCATED IN FREEPORT NY, SEEKING A WELL-ORGANIZED INDIVIDUAL FOR AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGEMENT POSITION WITH GROWTH POTENTIAL; EXPERIENCE A PLUS.
SELF STARTER WITH ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK.
MUST HAVE STRONG WRITTEN & VERBAL COMMNICATION SKILLS.
MS OFFICE / PC SKILLS ARE REQUIRED.
BASIC CONSTRUCTION KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED & THE ABILITY TO READ & UNDERSTAND BLUEPRINTS & CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
ASSIST FIELD TEAM IN CREATING & COORDINATING SCHEDULES & TIMING WITH CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS & TRADES DURING PROJECTS
ORGANIZATION, TRACKING & FILING OF BLUEPRINTS
COORDINATION OF BID PACKAGES & PRE-CONSTRUCTION BUY-OUT
ASSIST PROJECT MANAGER WITH COORDINATION OF TRADES, SUPPLIERS & VENDORS FOR JOBSITE ACTIVITIES, ORDERING MATERIALS, SCHEDULING INSPECTIONS, MUNICIPALITY REQUIREMENTS
CREATION OF CLOSE-OUT PACKAGES FOR PROJECTS
MUST HAVE EXCELLENT FOLLOW UP SKILLS, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ABILITY TO COORDINATE PAPERWORK BETWEEN FIELD & OFFICE, ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE ISSUES TO ARCHITECTS/ENGINEERS
