About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and driven Acquisitions Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in commercial real estate by identifying and acquiring retail properties. You’ll be responsible for sourcing and developing relationships to uncover profitable acquisition opportunities, with a focus on aligning with operators on a exclusive basis to scale their growth to elite levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively source potential acquisition opportunities by cold calling, emailing, and meeting with operators. You’ll be expected to make 400 cold calls per week.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants, and other key stakeholders in the industry through regular networking efforts, including meals, meetups, and industry conferences.
- Financial Modeling: Develop foundational financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before—we’ll provide training and support.
- Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends, opportunities, and challenges to identify the best properties for acquisition.
Training & Development:
- Initial Training: You’ll undergo comprehensive training directly with the partners to learn how to source and secure acquisition opportunities that align with our investment criteria.
- Ongoing Development: As you grow in the role, you’ll continue to receive guidance and mentorship on key aspects of the acquisition process, including due diligence, securing equity and debt, and executing post-acquisition business plans.
- Resources: ZIG provides cutting-edge tools and resources to streamline your workflow and ensure you can focus on what matters most—finding and securing the right opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably in an acquisitions, brokerage, or related role.
