Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic to join our Cedarburg team as a Class A CDL Driver. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be able to operate a forklift and Moffet, and perform manual labor safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Following all Federal and State Regulations on CDLs
- Assisting in loading vehicles for delivery
- Responsible for safe drop-off and unloading of products (sales and returns included)
- Tie-down inspections before leaving the yard
- Maintaining a good sense of direction and ability to navigate a map
- Handling traffic and basic weather conditions
- Forklift certification required
- Checking invoices for load accuracy
- Assisting in loading customer orders for pick-up when necessary
- Maintaining cleanliness of facility with respect to equipment, inventory, buildings, and yard
- Awareness of safety procedures at all times
- Working effectively as a team member
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- A valid current CDL License with a good driving record
- At least 2 years of industry experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to repetitively lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 70 pounds, and bend/twist
- Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension
