Job Summary :
Outside Sales Account Manager requires an in depth understanding of the various aspects of the building materials supply business and generate in excess of $2 million in sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Generate sales growth from a portfolio of accounts you created
- Aid in identifying new category sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Attend client / builder meetings in showroom, client office, and / or jobsite
- Conduct product selection meetings with client / builder in our showroom
- Travel to job sites to perform jobsite verification of window / millwork specs / measurements on ongoing projects
- Perform material take-offs on smaller scale projects
- Respond to builder communications via phone / email / text
- Assemble job packs for the installer
- Be involved in the order process from estimating through ordering
- Assist the sales team with all details of ongoing projects
- Communicating with inside support staff
- Talking with vendors
- Assisting customers when help is needed at front counter.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
