We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Material Handler & Delivery Driver at our Madison location. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Loading of materials to be delivered.
- Load customer orders that are processed from inside sales counter.
- Receiving product delivered from vendors.
- Stock and maintain product in bins.
- Put away stock and special order returns.
- Organize, stock and maintain warehouse.
- Basic housekeeping. ie: sweep aisles, straighten piles, pick up scraps.
- Care of product against damage.
- Attention to safety procedures at all times.
- Taking out deliveries .
- Attention to detail and accuracy in loading the correct product.
- Lock up warehouse at the end of each day.
- Other duties upon request by a manager/owner.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Forklift certification required
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to over 100 pounds on a consistent basis with the ability to twist and bend. Possible weight of 125 pounds and over at times.
- Alert, focused and detail-oriented.
- Basic reading, writing comprehension and math skills required.
- Physically and mentally fit
- Self starter who works well independently as well as the ability to work well with others when needed
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
