What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Dental Assistant position at Zufall Health?
Award-winning FQHC, Zufall Health is currently seeking Entry Level Dental Assistants for our Dover, West Orange, Newton, Flemington, Morristown, Hackettstown, Bridgewater and Plainsboro locations. The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist(s) and dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.
This role is entry level. No experience or training is required. Experienced Dental Assistants are encouraged to apply. Paid training will provided on site.
For entry level candidates, starting rate is $17/hour. Upon receiving x-ray/radiology certification, your pay will increase by $4/hour. Further increases are available upon receiving CDA and RDA certifications.
Qualifications
Fluent in both English and Spanish required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to study and test for x-ray/radiology license upon eligibility. We will reimburse the cost of the test/certification
X-Ray course and license must be completed within the first 6 months of employment
Employee is responsible for finding a program that works best for them and their schedule
CPR/BLS required prior to start date.
