Position Description: The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and supervision of engineering and capital projects related to the design, installation, maintenance, and improvement of plant equipment, tools, and machinery.
Prmary Responsibilities: Leads capital and engineering projects from start to finish.
Develop detailed project plans for all capital projects and serve as the primary project manager.
Work as part of a multi-discipline team to assess equipment performance, identify issues, and develop strategies to optimize production lines and other processes.
Develop and maintain technical data, drawings, calculations, estimates, schedules, and correspondence, ensuring accurate records are kept for all engineering projects and plant equipment.
Collaborate with plant electricians, mechanics, and operations personnel to provide technical support in diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and process-related issues.
Work closely with operations and plant leadership to ensure that equipment controls and processes are optimized for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Assist in the development of long-term capital improvement plans for the plant, focusing on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with evaluating new technology and its impact on the department’s budget. Ensure cost-effective engineering solutions are implemented to maximize ROI.

Education/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
5+ years of field project experience
Salary : $102,000 - $148,000
