Job Title: Blender Technician

Primary Responsibilities:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. 1 year in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.
Safety:
All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines and safety policies.
PPE: MUST be worn and in designated areas.

Perform blender operator tasks as related to staging, verifying, batching and blending of ingredients. Performs other duties directed by production manager and supervisors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CIP and sanitization of all equipment
- Completes assigned paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner
- Perform the mixing and or staging of ingredients to be mixed
- Verify correct ingredients are used in batch
- Verify correct lot numbers are recorded as required on Batch Ticket
- Verify mixing instructions from batch ticket are followed every batch
- Mixing all ingredients per published mix instructions
- QA/QC of each batch at all stages of production
- Supports daily operations by creating blends per the current schedule
- Coordinates with Filler Operator as needed before filling tasks
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times
- Reports food safety and quality issues to QC Supervisor and Production Manager

- Other duties as assigned
