Position Description :
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for developing, executing and monitoring the effectiveness of Zumbiel’s sales and marketing strategy. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CMO will oversee all marketing operations, brand management, and digital initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business to business marketing, sales, brand development, and customer engagement.
Primary Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute Zumbiel’s marketing strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.Identify and assess new market opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics.Collaborate with the executive and sales teams to set strategic priorities and goals for initiatives.Brand Management
Oversee the development and management of Zumbiel’s brand identity and positioning.Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.Lead initiatives to enhance reputation and brand awareness.Digital Marketing
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online engagement and sales.Oversee the management of Zumbiel’s website, social media presence, and digital advertising campaigns.Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and optimize performance.Customer Engagement
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.Utilize customer insights and market research to inform marketing strategies and decisions.Product Marketing
Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.Oversee the development of product messaging, positioning, and promotional materials.Ensure successful product launches and ongoing product marketing efforts.Public Relations and Communications
Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance Zumbiel’s visibility and reputation.Oversee the management of media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communication.Ensure effective communication of Zumbiel’s mission, vision, and values to external audiences.Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Promote collaboration and effective communication within the marketing team and across the organization.Identify and address training and development needs within the marketing team.Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media.Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing matters with internal and external stakeholders.Communicate Zumbiel’s marketing vision, strategy, and performance to the executive team and board of directors.Qualifications and Experience
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and / or Business Administration. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certification is preferred.Experience : Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in manufacturing, specifically packaging, is highly desirable.Skills :Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Proven track record of driving marketing success and achieving business growth.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of digital marketing, B2B sales, brand management, and customer engagement.Ability to navigate complex marketing environments and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation platforms).Location :
