A Day in the Life
- Support the client by identifying the appropriate services and resources they need.
- Provide the client with hope and encouragement while working towards their goals.
- Assist recovering person in having their voices fully heard
- Educate clinical and other staff about the recovery process
- Identify internal and external barriers to participation in services and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Teach and coach the client skills needed in order to be successfully independent.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Primary diagnosis of mental illness
- Current or former consumer of mental health services
- Valid Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance

Starting wage $21 to $24 per hour dependent on experience.
