Family Psychotherapist

We are seeking a full-time Family Psychotherapist, to provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults, children and families in office and community-based settings such as clients’ homes. Some services may be specific to the special clinical training, certification and licensing of the particular outpatient therapist. If you’re passionate about helping families build stronger, healthier relationships and are looking for an opportunity to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Clinically assess client and family mental health needs by collecting, evaluating, and documenting information about the client's situation, personal and family needs, and personal and family strengths.
• Develop integrated treatment plans in cooperation with the client and other providers, establishing mutually agreed upon goals, expectations and services that build upon client centered strengths and assets. 
• Coordinate and make referrals for needed services in order that each client may function to the best of her/his ability.
• Perform individual, family and group therapy to assigned clients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed for assigned cases and in support of other therapist’s cases when they are not available.
• Provide case and program consultation to other community caregivers as requested. 
• Provide education and in-service training to community caregivers and the general public. 

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
• Independent professional licensure in the State of MN (LMFT, LP, LPCC, or LICSW) preferred.
• Clinical trainees pursuing independent licensure will be considered
• Clinical trainees need to meet the qualifications for Minnesota Statute definition of a Mental Health Practitioner
• Two years of experience working in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting is desired.
• Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance

Pay: $31.87 - $39.05 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
