Description
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct care to clients in withdrawal management and detoxification. As a nurse in one of our 24-hour facilities you will care and support clients with substance use disorder. Evening and overnight shifts available. New graduates welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment of health status on individual upon admission and discharge.
- Accurately chart all medications, physical, emotional, and mental status.
- Evaluate appropriate referral sources for client upon discharge.
- Participate in the development and modification of a plan of care.
- Implement physician order's .
- Preform general nursing procedures and care to clients.
- Provide oversight to clients in withdrawal regimens or clients with monitored sobriety.
- Make behavioral observations of clients and potential clients.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have a current active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience working with individuals that have substance use and/or co-occurring disorder preferred.
