As a Mental Health Practitioner in one of our 24-hour facilities, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans that help individuals achieve their mental health goals. Responsibilities:
- Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
- Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
- Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
- Facilitate residential program activities, classes and groups.
- Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
- Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.
Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field.
- 1 year of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or substance use disorder required.
- Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the State of MN
- Experience working with severe emotional disturbances in children is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay: $24.37 - $29.24 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
