Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and implementing effective merchandising strategies.
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members to enhance their performance and promote a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and ensure accurate product displays.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
- Operate POS systems and cash registers accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Maintain high standards of organization within the store, including cleanliness and product placement.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers through excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in retail math to assist with financial analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Experience in shift management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and team members effectively.
