We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse specializing in Critical Care Float to join our esteemed healthcare organization. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across various critical care units, enhancing your experience and expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in diverse critical care settings, including Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, and Step-Down Units.
- Support post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU.
- Actively participate in maternal emergency response initiatives.
- Maintain autonomy in high-pressure scenarios while delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care.
- Strong clinical skills specifically in critical care nursing.
- Proven ability to work independently under pressure.
- Compassionate approach to patient interactions and care delivery.
- Experience in maternal emergency response and related scenarios is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Critical Care RN.
- Current RN licensure in New York State.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Demonstrated experience in high-pressure critical care environments.
