What is the opportunity?

We are currently looking for a Compliance Reporting and Operations Specialist for Zurich Cover-More (ZCM). This role will work with the Head of Compliance Operations & Reporting Zurich Cover-More (ZCM) and the Chief Compliance Officer to design and implement our target state both during and post integration addressing capabilities to be fit for the future, simplification of processes and generation of compliance risk insights.

Operating in a fast-paced, content-driven environment, this role covers all aspects of the Zurich Cover-More Group, including integration, strategy, and operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with subject matter experts while playing a key role in navigating the increasingly complex compliance risk landscape.

Please note we are open to candidates either in Schaumburg/Chicago IL, or NYC.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the implementation of Zurich Group Compliance frameworks across Zurich Cover-More, ensuring alignment with group policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of compliance reporting, providing accurate, insightful, and timely data to senior leadership and governance bodies.
  • Contribute to compliance risk assessments, identifying key risks and supporting mitigation efforts across Zurich Cover-More.
  • Provide consistent, reliable, and data-driven compliance risk insights, supporting informed decision-making at both business and governance levels.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of a robust compliance control framework, ensuring effective monitoring and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key liaison for local and regional Compliance officers, fostering collaboration and alignment on compliance initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with assurance functions, including Legal, Risk, and Audit, to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and compliance oversight.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 years of experience in financial services or regulatory compliance, preferably with knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, risk and compliance, or law (preferred).
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations, managing compliance responsibilities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and present compliance data, supporting informed decision-making at leadership and governance levels.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple business lines and functions, ensuring compliance frameworks are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver meaningful compliance insights.
  • Expertise in compliance reporting and risk assessment, ensuring accurate and effective communication of compliance risks to senior leadership.
