E&O/Cyber Underwriter, Wholesale E&S

Zurich is currently looking to hire an experienced Underwriter to join our Wholesale E&O and Cyber team! This position is dedicated to the wholesale broker channel and presents a great opportunity to join our Professional Liability & Cyber team in one of the following office locations : Atlanta, New York, or Chicago!

In this role, you will underwrite and perform financial analysis across professional liability E&O and Cyber risks. The position will have technical, transactional and market facing responsibilities; and it will also make contributions in the areas of product / proposition development, marketing, fulfillment, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities include :

• Generating, underwriting, and analyzing E&O and Cyber new and renewal policies.
• Market facing and production with wholesale brokers.
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manual rules.
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments.
• Managing a portfolio of accounts and developing a pipeline of business.
• Collaborating and cross selling with other stakeholders and lines of business within Zurich.

This role will be filled at either a Mid-Senior or Senior level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicants experience and skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $94,000.00 - $170,000.00. The proposed salary range for the Mid-Senior E&O / Cyber Underwriter is $94,000.00 - $139,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. For the Senior E&O / Cyber Underwriter is $120,000.00 - $170,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
