We are currently seeking an experienced Middle Markets Underwriter at the Mid-Senior or Senior level to join our team.
As a Middle Markets Underwriter, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience. Your ability to understand unique risks and offer comprehensive solutions will be essential to meet the insurance needs of our Middle Markets clients.
Your Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers across various industries to achieve business objectives.
- Utilize your underwriting expertise in risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing to generate and uphold a profitable portfolio of new and renewal business.
- Collaborate effectively with various business units, including claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting, while expanding your knowledge in a growing and innovative field.
- Leverage your technical underwriting and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with key distribution partners within an assigned territory.
Basic Qualifications :
For Mid-Senior Level :
Knowledge in relevant lines of business, legal and regulatory guidelines, and timely response for quotes on new and renewal business is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
For Senior Level :
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in adhering to time constraints for quotes, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential for the Senior level.
