Organizational Strategy Consultant (International)

Zurich North America is hiring an experienced Organizational Strategy Consultant (International) to join our Operations team in Schaumburg! We are also open to hiring talent at our offices in Chicago & New York.

As a member of Zurich's Operations team, you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your Project Management and analytical skills. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to work with the International Operations team on projects such as creating Underwriting models and rules, Operating models, technology transformations and automation initiatives.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Lead, design and/or facilitate cross-functional projects that promote organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability.
• Create timelines, agendas, goals and metrics/measurements
• Guide in the development, implementation, and institutionalization of best practices around execution and change management.
• Guide the development of communication and implementation plans for enterprise and Business Units initiatives.
• Partner across US and Global Business Units to leverage enterprise processes and solutions to support integrated or Business Units specific solutions as appropriate.
• Provide methodologies and tools to sponsors and team members to support initiatives and institutionalize a culture that embraces innovation and transformation.
• Ensure appropriate change management practices are effectively utilized throughout the life cycle to improve execution and delivery of results.
• Take a holistic approach to identifying business improvement opportunities, develop solutions, manage initiatives and identify the resources.
• Ensure specific metrics and measures incorporated into solutions reflect the business strategy, track progress, capture the impact of changes and identify further opportunities for improvement.
• Influence and manage line managers to motivate them to support the initiatives and program plans
• Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships across the organization in order to achieve engagement to change.

• Bachelors degree
• PMP certification
• International insurance industry knowledge with subject matter expertise in at least one functional insurance discipline; such as Underwriting, Claims, Risk, Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 - $130,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
