**Underwriting Opportunities**
We invite experienced professionals to join our team as Middle Markets Underwriters. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with brokers, partners, and customers across various industries to support business objectives.
**Responsibilities**
- Assess risks, evaluate exposures, and price policies to generate and maintain a profitable book of new and renewal business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting.
- Grow and develop relationships with preferred distribution partners in assigned territories.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 1 year of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 4 years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area.
- Knowledge of line/s of business and legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
