As part of Zurich North America's Middle Markets segment, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored insurance solutions to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer experience, technical underwriting expertise, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
In this role, you will handle complex new and renewal business, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Life Sciences. You will have the chance to leverage your underwriting and marketing skills, building valuable relationships with our Preferred Distribution Partners and further enhancing your career.
Your Responsibilities :
- Act as an advocate for the Life Science industry, enhancing customer experiences by identifying their risks and providing comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Evaluate exposures, conduct risk assessments, and price insurance solutions with a disciplined approach.
- Utilize risk insights, data, and models to inform decisions at the point of sale.
- Refine underwriting guidelines specific to life science exposures.
- Identify gaps in customer programs and align Zurich’s offerings to ensure clients receive the necessary contract certainty.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills while providing innovative advisory services.
- Underwrite and analyze new and renewal business for Life Science risks.
- Demonstrate expert coverage analysis skills for product liability risks.
- Engage in market-facing activities to drive production within our Middle Markets division.
- Collaborate across various teams to deepen understanding of life science exposures and opportunities.
- Monitor adherence to underwriting rules, insurance laws, and rating manual regulations.
- Cultivate relationships with agencies and brokers.
- Handle highly complex assignments with broad limits and authorities.
