We are excited to add an experienced Underwriter for Financial Institutions to enrich our Financial Institutions team.
In this role, you will advocate for our customers with a focus on enhancing their experience by understanding their unique risks and providing the best comprehensive solutions for their insurance needs.
Hybrid Work Opportunity : This role offers flexibility and can be based in any of the following Zurich North America offices : Overland Park KS, St. Louis MI, Edina MN, Cleveland OH, or Chicago IL.
What You Can Expect :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with broker partners and customers across various industries to support business goals.
- Utilize your Financial Institutions underwriting expertise in risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing to create and manage a profitable portfolio of new and renewal business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting to gain valuable insights in a dynamic industry.
- Leverage your technical underwriting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with distribution partners in your assigned territory.
We will fill this role at either the Mid-Senior or Senior Level, based on your experience and skills relative to the qualifications.
