What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Livestock Specialist position at Zurich NA?
We are currently looking for a National Livestock Specialist to sell, service and train Livestock products nationwide for Zurich's Crop Team. Estimated travel is 75%. This is a fully remote opportunity, that is open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

In this critical role you will be responsible for but not limited to :
- Delivers profitable growth through selling and servicing nationwide livestock only agencies.
- Develops intimate knowledge of agent’s business model and proposition, and creates a business plan which optimizes identified opportunities that align with our growth strategies.
- Leads and manages holistic agent and customer value propositions to deliver profitable growth.
- Retains business and grow market share in territory by providing an enhanced customer experience for Zurich Crop agents.
- Provides consultation and secondary livestock support as requested by other Sales & Service team members.
- Proficient in all aspects of Zurich Crop livestock software (quoting, processing and claims) to provide agent training and support.
- Has excellent virtual communications skills to provide training and support remotely as needed.
- Identifies annual training needs and takes the lead role in training agents and internal staff on Livestock products and software. Provide monthly virtual livestock training for new agents.
- Assists in the development and review of training materials created by the Zurich Crop Training Team.
- Provides sales team support for other specialty products, such as Pasture Range Forage. This may include becoming the subject matter expert to consult on complicated sales questions, IT development activities, agent and internal staff training, etc.
- Monitors industry trends to maintain knowledge of livestock industry practices. Anticipate changes to facilitate RCIS sales efforts, IT developments and reinsurance concerns.
- Identifies and analyzes processing & servicing issues, make recommendations for solutions and collaborate with applicable departments to drive toward resolution.
- Ensures that agents are complying with all regulatory requirements related to processing their livestock business, working with other departments to establish quality control processes as needed.
- Provides Livestock subject matter expertise and assist in the development of SOPs as appropriate.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality which is necessary due to supporting directly competing agencies.

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 - $140,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
As an insurance company, Zurich is subject to 18 U.S. Code § 1033.
