This position's responsibility is to perform claim file reviews to evaluate Best Practices compliance and claim handling improvement opportunities, throughout the life of a claim file, across Travel Guard Claims. Technical and compliance reviews include Travel & NAC claims across all levels of complexity.

This position's responsibility is to perform claim file reviews to evaluate Best Practices compliance and claim handling improvement opportunities, throughout the life of a claim file, across Travel Guard Claims. Responsibilities include
- Complete quality reviews on all files within program guidelines while achieving and maintaining calibrated application of Line of Business best practices and claim handling expectations
- Organize and execute Benchmark reviews as a Team Lead, including scheduling, GQA review team oversite and results reporting
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Line of Business partners including presentation of constructive feedback in a positive way
- Identification of trends and improvement opportunities with follow-up to ensure implementation of meaningful continuous improvement and/or action plan in partnership with claims
- Commitment to personal development and skill enhancement
- Provide support to Complaints Analyst & Claims STP Analyst, when called upon.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field and 3 or more years of past insurance claims and/or audit experience
- Proven claims experience handling Travel and/or NAC claims
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- AIC, AIS, SCLA, or CPCU a plus, but not required.
- Excellent awareness of industry practices surrounding Claims Handling together with strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to apply it to the role
- Experience in claims analysis and audit, desirable, but not required
- Proven track record of upholding high quality standards within Travel and/or NAC claims
- Ability to make recommendations on action and improvement plan
- Meticulous attention to detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and responses.
- Well-organized and able to work with limited supervision: Demonstrate initiative and self-sufficiency in managing responsibilities.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities: Maintain focus and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, maintaining a high degree of clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
