Zurich Direct Markets is looking for a Regional Business Specialist to join the Sales & Account Support team.
The mission of the Sales & Account Support Team is to partner with the field staff to acquire, retain, and service accounts. They are a dedicated resource and an extension to the field staff to help grow the business and provide support to our customers. They aim for “first time right” in everything they do through consistent processes, strong technical expertise, and high-quality controls.
The ideal candidate will provide Property Casualty as well as Finance and Insurance support to regional sales staff to drive growth and profitability by assisting with less complex Property Casualty renewal delivery, ancillary product cross selling, evaluating and preparing customer information in collaboration with underwriting, negotiate policy terms, conditions and pricing, client Finance and Insurance seminar preparations, client record maintenance and report generation.
In this role you will be responsible for:
The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $53,400 - $87,500, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assist in calling customers to discuss and obtain underwriting related documents for renewal preparation.
- Assist with renewal delivery to customers virtually as well as obtain signatures and payments.
- With manager and sales staff direction and oversight, coordinate production/processing documents, internal reports and update production reporting systems.
- Coordinate with Marketing, management and team members to oversee customer facing distributions and correspondence.
- Serve as liaison for customers, field staff, regional office staff and home office departments.
- Ensure policies, procedures and guidelines are followed.
- Ensure customer contact information is accurate and properly maintained in Zurich systems.
- Receive and direct customer policy requests to the appropriate department and follow-up until completion is verified.
- Support others who maintain relationships directly with customers.
- Respond to inquiries quickly and completely, provide status updates until resolved.
- Recognize and respond to or refer opportunities within Direct Markets or other Zurich entities that support the corresponding line of business.
- Assist on projects with manager guidance.
- Identify and resolve problems by referring to policies, procedures, standards.
- Continually improve unit performance by analyzing and recommending enhancements to technical procedures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Sales or Sales Support area OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Sales or Sales Support area AND
- Licensed for insurance products in states where assigned
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Knowledge of underwriting and claims
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of DocuSign functionality
- Associates degree with 1 or more years sales or sales support experience
- Insurance industry experience
- Exposure to technology to include Pads, Personal computers, traditional as well as automotive application software and business system applications.
- Knowledge of P&C and/or F&I underwriting and claims
