Litigated Claims Specialist, General Liability

Zurich is seeking a talented Litigated Claims Specialist to join our dynamic Multinational General Liability Team. As a Litigated Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and resolving multinational commercial general liability claims. You will work with a team to ensure claims are handled with efficiency and precision, all while adhering to established protocols and maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to manage claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity, providing you with the chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve litigated multinational commercial general liability claims.
• Ensure claims are processed within the defined limits of authority.
• Deliver exceptional, customer-centric claims service, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the claims process.
• Collaborate across teams to drive positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 3 years of Claims or Insurance experience OR
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 3 years of Claims or Insurance experience OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5 years of Claims or Insurance experience.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Solid understanding of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience handling Commercial General Liability litigated claims.
• 5 years of experience in litigation management.
• In-depth knowledge of General Liability coverage, especially standard ISO coverage forms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships and working in a collaborative team environment.
• Expertise in reserving processes for indemnity and expenses.
• Ability to develop and execute negotiation strategies.
• Skill in assessing the scope and exposure of moderately complex claims.
• Proficiency in presenting claim resolution information to stakeholders and customers.
