What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Performance Analyst or Financial Performance Analyst position at Zurich North America?
We are currently looking for a Performance Analyst or Senior Performance Analyst to join the Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) Finance team to support the development of the business strategy and other initiatives through provision of regular accurate detailed financial analysis and insight.
Location for this hybrid (3 days a week in the office) position is the Schaumburg Headquarters.
This position will work with ZRS North America to deliver robust, timely information relating to all aspects of financial performance in order to enhance business decision making. Act as a point of contact for ZRS for all matters financial. Contribute to the annual budget/plan and regular forecast process through close work with the business.
This individual will work to provide financial reporting and data analytics on a regular basis requiring current, intermediate experience in Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be an individual that has Finance and P&L understanding. Other critical skills include being a good communicator (both written and verbal) and a critical thinker with an analytical mindset. The role requires participation on some activities on projects where needed.
This role will be filled at either Performance Analyst or Senior Performance Analyst. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

- Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area OR
- Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
Sr Performance Analyst:
- Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Insurance industry experience
- Bachelors Degree in Finance
- Knowledgeable of P&L
- Project management experience
- CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Power BI, SAP, and BPC
