Zuriel LLC, a leading provider of residential care, is hiring caring and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to empower our residents with developmental disabilities and mental health needs to reach their full potential.
DSP Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities based on their personalized plans
- Encourage resident independence, community engagement and social development
- Implement behavior support strategies under the guidance of clinical professionals
- Ensure resident safety and wellbeing through attentive monitoring and care
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Support a positive home environment through active listening and relationship building
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation for residents
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience caring for individuals with special needs (personal or professional)
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings/weekends/holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification a plus
