- Develop and implement material planning strategies to support production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, cycle counts, and minimal excess or obsolete inventory.
- Develop goals and standards of performance for the team, ensure development of team members for capable successions, communicate, and enforce safety and quality expectations, and policies and procedures.
- Monitor and improve material flow efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage production control activities, including scheduling and coordination with production teams.
- Implement and maintain ERP system for inventory and production planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and storage.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
