Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and control production, materials, and product inventory.
- Develop and manage opportunities for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and services.
- Oversee inventory control processes and ensure accurate stock levels, cycle counts, and minimal excess or obsolete inventory.
- Develop goals and standards of performance for the team and ensure development of team for capable successions.
- Cultivate a culture of safety and quality within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience in materials management, production control, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
