This role will focus on researching and uncovering copy-cat filters, analyzing their composition, and bringing awareness to misleading filter contents that do not meet certified standards. The ultimate goal is to educate buyers and drive preference for Zurn Elkay-certified filtration solutions.

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions is seeking a Filtration Research Intern to support our efforts in identifying and addressing counterfeit water filters on e-commerce platforms. Location: Milwaukee, WI
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and track counterfeit and copy-cat filters being sold online.
- Analyze product claims, specifications, and marketing tactics used by non-certified filter manufacturers.
- Investigate and document cases where false or misleading contents are used instead of certified filtration components.
- Support the development of awareness campaigns that educate customers and industry stakeholders on filtration quality and safety.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and compliance teams to develop reports and presentations highlighting research findings.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory and certification requirements for water filtration products.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports.
- Interest in water filtration technology, product compliance, and e-commerce research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a mission-driven team.
- Hands-on experience in product research, marketing strategy, and compliance within a leading water solutions company.
- Exposure to cross-functional teams working on innovative water filtration solutions.
