The Senior Buyer is responsible for a "cradle to grave" handling of materials. This position ensures that materials are available to meet internal and external customer requirements while working within the constraints of the business and while constantly driving to improve the supply chain working capital metrics and corporate profitability.

- Strong oral & written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of a corporation
- Strong understanding of the various lean principles
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office applications
- High degree of creativity, flexibility, and resourcefulness in the pursuit of cost improvements
