As Sr. Leader, Product Manager & Strategy for the Elkay Plumbing Division, lead the Expanded Markets strategy for Water Delivery products, focusing initially on Educational and Residential sectors. Create and successfully execute the long-term strategic roadmap and profitability of products, and lead a small product management team. This position will be located in either Milwaukee, WI or Downers Grove, IL.
Specific duties include :
- Lead the organization in the development of a vision and strategic business plan for our product category or accounts in collaboration with other key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as holistic organizational business expert and owner for their product category. This includes expert knowledge on Elkay, our competition, end-user insights, channel partner needs, market trends, market pricing, manufacturing methods and costs, our suppliers, etc.
- Identify and execute specific new product development projects and other key business initiatives in support of the strategic plan and business roadmap.
- Manage existing product line portfolio and recommend product changes, additions, discontinuations, and cost reductions to produce best ongoing cost position
- Collaborate with the Director of Product Management in establishing and communicating prioritization of projects and initiatives based upon business needs.
- Lead organizational competitive intelligence efforts
Clearly define and communicate product / project definition requirements to the cross-functional project teams.
Establish and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with all functional areas within Elkay.
