Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Director, HCP Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the overall HCP and key account strategies for the launch of Beizray in oncology, as well as shaping the future oncology pipeline strategy. This role will be instrumental in establishing the strategic direction for Beizray while also driving long-term planning for the company's oncology portfolio. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across HCP, payer, and patient engagement efforts.
Additionally, this role will work closely with the National Account and Sales teams, actively accompanying them on key customer interactions with HCPs, healthcare institutions, and key accounts to gather real-world insights and refine strategic marketing initiatives. The Director will also contribute to pipeline planning, leveraging deep oncology market expertise to inform the company’s future commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the HCP marketing strategy and execution to ensure a successful launch and sustained commercial performance of Beizray in oncology.
- Develop and implement key brand activation initiatives, ensuring seamless HCP engagement and education.
- Partner with customer insights teams to analyze market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends in oncology to inform strategic decision-making.
- Deliver annual marketing plans and budgets, establishing KPIs to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with oncology thought leaders (KOLs), speakers, and key healthcare professionals to drive advocacy and market uptake.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, External Affairs, and Legal to ensure alignment in brand execution and compliance.
- Develop marketing research, competitive intelligence, and analytics frameworks to refine commercial strategies.
- Work with external agencies to develop impactful HCP-targeted campaigns that differentiate Beizray in a competitive oncology market.
- Accompany National Account and Sales teams on key customer interactions with oncologists, healthcare institutions, and key accounts to gain direct market insights and enhance engagement strategies.
- Lead the development of long-term HCP marketing strategies for future oncology pipeline assets, ensuring early commercial insights are integrated into clinical and regulatory planning.
- Support business development efforts by providing strategic input on potential oncology partnerships and acquisitions.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with internal and external compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry codes of conduct.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.- 8 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience, with at least 5 years in HCP marketing (or a related commercial function).
- Experience in oncology marketing required, with a strong preference for candidates who have launched products in solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, or supportive oncology care.
- Expertise in 505(b)(2) regulatory pathways and/or biosimilars is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies for specialty or complex therapeutics, with an understanding of oncology treatment landscapes, prescribing behaviors, and patient pathways.
- Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data-driven insights into strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and driving collaboration across commercial functions.
- Willingness to travel to accompany Sales and National Account teams on customer interactions and gather insights from real-world market experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, adapting to evolving market conditions and business needs.
