Are you looking for a reliable and rewarding opportunity as a Janitorial Cleaner? We have a fantastic opening at the United States Postal Service (USPS) facility in Hawkers Island, NC. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our small post office clean and welcoming for both employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the post office tidy and well-maintained through daily cleaning tasks.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas and staff zones.
- Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms.
- Dust surfaces, including desks, shelves, and fixtures.
- Empty trash bins and replace trash bags as needed.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly.
- Notify the supervisor of any repair or maintenance needs for cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during cleaning duties.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.
Requirements:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Available to work Tuesday and Friday, within the cleaning window from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent cleaning results.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
- Candidate must be able to pass a background check.
