Job Description
Job Summary
Conduct execution services using the Zyme-Flow ProcessSM in refinery process units and other industrial settings. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and supports the daily actions of field operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides services for projects working in refineries and petrochemical plants.
- Performs work with tools in connection with the fitting and adjustments of mechanical equipment.
- Responsible for repairs to equipment as required to include but not limited to valves, pipework, and pressure valves.
- Ability to pass the Basic Plus safety training and other site-specific.
- Abides by company and client safety programs, policies and procedures, and works safely at all times.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written assignments related to ZymeFlow job functions.
- Ability to work safely in a refinery environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to set up chemical drums, operate drum pumps, and connect hoses for decontamination operations.
- Monitors chemical levels and ensures injection rates are followed according to the proposed plan.
- Takes part in tailgate safety meetings and completes associated safety forms.
- Records the events and provide status updates daily while on assignment.
- Follows prescribed planning booklet instructions during execution of projects.
- Performs meter testing procedures to measure H2S, LEL, Benzene and other potential hazards.
- Communicates with clients to explain basic ZymeFlow procedures.
- Troubleshoots and handles a variety of service situations.
- Be a strong team player.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrate Basic Knowledge and / or Refinery Unit Operations.
- Minimum of one (1) year of refinery experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check through DISA with a 02 or better rating.
- Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time globally.
- Able to workday and night shifts. 7 days a week and / or until the project is complete.
- Ability to pass other company and site-specific training.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of industrial decontamination and / or refinery equipment.
- Team Player and one who adapts quickly.
- Treats all employees and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
- General Tool Usage.
- Represents the company in a proficient and professional manner
- Active TWIC Card, Driver’s License and, Passport
Physical Requirements
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to place pumps into position in barrels. Proper lifting techniques required.
May include lifting up to 50 lbs. overhead with both hands during pump placement.
Ability to pump chemical using a pump from a 55-gallon drum into the refinery vessel / pipe lift and transfer a 40 lb.
chemical injection pump from one drum to another. The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment
Frequent exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhausts and highly pressurized fluids.
Respiratory protective equipment will be provided when required).
- Occasional work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95 degree Fahrenheit, 98% humidity; and sub-zero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.
- The noise level in the work environment is often in excess of 85dBa.

Requirements
Shop Experience Knowledge of mechanical, tools and preventative maintenance. Familiarity with mechanical principles. Skills in maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical systems.
Active TWIC, Driver's License. High School Diploma or GED required.
