Position Purpose
Are you looking to join a collaborative team environment and be able to make a direct impact right away? We are hiring a Manager of Professional Services to join our ClarionDoor team. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of 5-10 individuals across project management, requirements analysis, and configuration: Your team’s role is to support the digital distribution goals of our enterprise Carriers and MGA customers for commercial insurance lines by delivering our end-to-end ClarionDoor solution both via initial implementation and ongoing enhancements.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to the team, lead day-to-day and week-to-week execution via agile methodologies, drive performance management processes for the team, and build relationships with internal peers and customers to foster a strong culture and develop trust.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and mentor a team of project managers, requirements analysts, and business analysts responsible for implementing the ClarionDoor Rate, Quote, Bind, and Issue solution
2. Provide process, business, and technical direction to the team in the form of solution design, project strategy, managing escalations, and resolving resourcing challenges
3. Drive agile processes including prioritization, sprint planning, and supporting sprint execution
4. Establish, monitor, and improve a set of reportable and data-driven metrics that reflect the performance of the team
5. Drive refinement and evolution of key processes that result in improved performance that is reflected in internal metrics and customer sentiment
6. Work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization to identify and implement improvements to our professional and engineering services capabilities.
7. Perform bi-annual performance reviews, facilitate career planning, and provide coaching opportunities for team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. 5 years experience in software development in SaaS software platforms with a focus on API based solutions
2. 3 years experience working in a professional services environment
3. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent on-the-job experience.
4. 1 years of proven experience working in Agile-like methodologies
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
6. Experience driving change management initiatives across an organization
7. Experience or knowledge of commercial insurance a plus
8. Ability to travel up to 10%
