We are seeking a highly skilled Prompt Engineer to join our growing AI team within a leading asset management firm. This role is pivotal in designing, refining, and optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, enabling more intelligent automation, research, and client-facing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and iterate high-quality prompts to optimize LLM performance across internal use cases.
Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to translate complex financial or operational requirements into effective prompts.
Analyze model outputs and identify opportunities for improvement in prompt design or data input.
Stay updated on the latest LLM capabilities and trends to drive innovation within the organization.
Document prompt engineering strategies, experiment results, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of financial concepts or previous experience in banking/finance is preferred.
Familiarity with Python, APIs, or AI/ML workflows is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
