Position Summary

• Position summary: Student will work on creating mathematical exercises and solutions for the open source book Quantitative Reasoning for Social Justice. These exercises will fulfill the learning goals of each section and the solution guide will be written to help a reader understand how to do a given exercise.

Required Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Have taken WCSBS*220 and at least one other math course and justice studies course. Be versed with mathematical reasoning and statistics and either coding, github, html, or R studio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: Has a desire to improve education materials so that a broader audience can be welcomed into mathematics. Be passionate about social justice issues.
