Virtex is Hiring an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST - Wisconsin Facility Near Austin, TX

The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for collecting payment from customers, process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Also is responsible for vendor invoice reconciliation to receiver, vendor invoice input into ERP system, vendor payments, and vendor statement reconciliation.

Job Description

Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments for outstanding invoices and work with the customer to provide the assistance they may require to make timely payments.
Apply lock box and other cash receipts on a regular basis and maintain other necessary A/R transactions in the ERP system.
Maintain the sales transaction database within Access and prepare weekly Access sales reports.
Voucher all vendor invoices into ERP system.
Reconcile GRNI (Goods received not invoiced).
Maintain and run A/R and A/P agings and ensure monthly reconciliation to General Ledger.

Requirements

Associate’s degree preferred with 3-5 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
3 years of working with high volume, full-cycle accounting and month end closes.
Excellent organizational skills
Experience in working with manufacturing company (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, as well as tact and diplomacy
Ability to cope with multiple requests and priorities
Computer skills including Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Excel
Experience with 1099’s preferred
Experience with Syteline (preferred)
