The Santa Lucia Preserve is a private community dedicated to appreciating and respecting the area’s natural beauty, geography, history, and cultural setting. Our Gatehouse at 1 Rancho San Carlos Road is just a few minutes from Highway 1 in Carmel. A scenic, winding road takes you into the heart of the Preserve in just 20 minutes.

We are hiring for a Water Systems Seasonal Laborer to help maintain and grow our community's water and wastewater systems during the busy months of June through September. The position is temporary through October 1, 2024, It is 40 hours per week, Monday -Friday, 7 am - 3.30 pm. This position will park at the Gatehouse and be driven in company vehicles for the work day.

Duties and Functions:

• Digging, Shoveling, Trenching
• Weed-eating
• Meter box cleaning
• Valve exercising
• Infrastructure cleaning
• Debris removal

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Stand for extended durations
• Work on uneven surfaces
• Work in a rugged outdoor environment
• Team player
