WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

The Facility Janitorial Team keeps our physical spaces looking great, making it beautiful for our community members, ensuring they have the best possible experience in our space. We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail, a desire to keep shared spaces “spick and span,” and someone who takes pride in seeing a job well-done. Candidates must take direction well and be able to adhere to a strict shift checklist. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who isn’t afraid to work hard.

It’s time to get weird with Brooklyn Boulders.

YOU WILL:

  • Complete all items on the Facilities checklist, and communicate tasks that are not completed to your Facilities Manager or Shift Supervisor
  • Stock locker rooms and bathrooms with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoos and other amenities as-needed
  • Wipe down all fitness equipment in the facility as outlined in your checklist
  • Ensure all facilities cleaning materials are cleaned and stored properly
  • Conduct continuous spot-cleaning with a focus on dust and chalk control
  • Deep clean all co-working spaces in accordance with Facility SOPs and your daily checklists
  • Support with immediate cleaning tasks as directed by your Facilities Manager or Shift Supervisor
  • Proactively address areas of janitorial concern in the facility.
  • Clock in and out per your hiring and onboarding requirements
  • Communicate all support needs to your Facilities Manager
  • All other duties as required

YOU HAVE:

  • The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance
  • The ability to reach overhead and below the knees, with the capability of bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You may be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • A strong sense of motivation and a drive to see a job well done
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Prior professional cleaning experience is a plus!

We’re looking for someone with prior professional cleaning experience, ideally in the fitness or hospitality industry. Candidates must take direction well and be able to adhere to a strict shift checklist. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who isn’t afraid to work hard and takes pride in seeing a job well-done.
