ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry cleaned dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewashes soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dishwater in dish machine ever hour.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Take out trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• General restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Must notify Manger anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Preform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Must be able to read labels on chemicals.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

• Take direction and work in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
