Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for troubleshooting and fixing technical issues. You will be diagnosing and repairing equipment issues in the field on both swimming pools (equipment) and hot tubs . Experience in pool or spa service is a huge plus, however, we will consider mechanically inclined tech candidates with experience in other types of field repair: HVAC, Appliances for instance.

Duties:

- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and at times structural compoenents of a pool or hot tub. This includes heaters, pumps, chlorine generating systems, control packs, pool liners, plumbing leaks and so on.

- Repairs will primarily be on newer equipment - warranty related, however, as your knowledge base builds you will work on equipment not in our current catalog

- Test functionality of repaired items to ensure proper operation upon completion

- Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately

- Collaborate with scheduling and parts to ensure an efficient work flow maximizing the number of calls you can make in a day. Always seek to complete the job in one visit - IE, go prepared

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of tools and diagnostic equipment

- Familiarity with plumbing a big asset

- Excellent problem-solving skills with high mechanical aptitude

- Ability to work independently yet part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 48 per week
