Harbor Valley Office Manager for a Skilled Nursing Facility that serves short term rehab and long term care. Billing Medicare, Insurance, and Medicaid are done by a billing company. The Office Manager will be responsible for Private Pay and Hospice Accounts Receivable and collection activities.

Duties include:

• Daily maintenance of admission and discharge census in PointClickCare software.
• Maintaining Resident Trust Fund and recording deposits and distributions.
• Posting deposits to Resident Liability, Private Pay, and Hospice accounts.
• Verifying changes to resident pay source is correct and modified daily including Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Pay.
• Collecting accounts receivable with notes maintained on all collection attempts.
• Assisting in collection of documents/records for Medicaid Applications.
• Communicating with families at admission on the financial system in nursing homes and continuing that relationship during their loved ones' stay.
• Member of the Quality Assurance Team.
• Attend morning meeting to communicate and coordinate with admissions and discharges.
• Oversee and supervise Human Resources staff and time card entries.
