We are looking for a Structural Engineer on the SRPPF project. The position details are below.
Structural Engineer
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.
• Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Senior Structural Engineer
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.
• Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.
• Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
Principal Structural Engineer
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical direction to assigned engineers
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.
• Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.
• Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
